XmlHttpRequest and Dynamic Web Pages

In case you were wondering, Gmail and Google's new suggest feature use something called XMLHTTPRequest along with DHTML to perform their magic.

Maybe we're about to see a renewed interest in building richer Web applications? One can only hope.
